The communication officer of the national democratic
congress party (NDC), Anyaa Sowutoum constituency, Mawuli Kpodo has stated that
the member of parliament of the constituency, Ayorkor Botchwey is only best at
distributing1 kilos of rice during campaign but ignores developmental projects
in the constituency.
He made this disclosure at the constituency Conference which
was organised by the National Democratic Congress party to elect their
constituency executives in the Anyaa Sowutoum constituency in Accra.
Speaking in an interview with Atinka FM Kennedy Obeng, Mr.
Kpodo explained that the member of parliament has turn a deaf ear on the lack
of infrastructure and better roads in the constituency which he believes its
improper on the part of the honorable member.
“All our roads have been destroyed by the heavy down which
has make plying the roads in the community difficult" Mr. Kpodo hinted.
"Our member of parliament is the poorest and none
performing leader we've come across in our constituency” he stressed.
Mr Kpodo advised the newly elected constituency executives
to be committed and come together to be able to take up the constituency seat
from the honorable member, Ayorkor Botchwey come 2020 general elections.
