Ayorkor is a tenant-----------Mr. Lamptey

Mr. Eric Nii Odartey Lamptey who aspired as a parliamentary candidate for Anyaa Sowutoum on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that Ayorkor Botchwey, MP for the constituency is just a tenant and must evacuate her seat.
He made this disclosure at the coalition center, Sowutoum Police station when he was called to give his take on the election though it didn’t go in his favor.
“The kind watchers of time have chosen their candidate; I will support the candidate with everything I have. Ayorkor is a tenant and the landlord has come” he stated.
The incumbent, Mr. Abossey braid emerged first among the aspiring parliamentary candidates, Mr. Emmanuel Allotey, Mr. Eric Nii Odartey Lamptey.
Speaking at the coalition center, Mr. Allotey has also pledge to support the elected candidate hon. Abossey braid to unseat the hon. Member of Parliament, Ayorkor Botchwey of the Anyaa Sowutoum constituency in the 2016 general elections.
Speaking further, the elected candidate, Mr. Abossey braid also thanked all delegates for giving him the mandates to battle hon. Ayorkor in the 2016 general elections and therefore pledged to work with all the other candidates for victory in 2016.
SUMMARY OF THE RESULTS
The electoral commission conducted elections at twelve (12) polling centers and the results after coalition are as follows;
*Mr. Emmanuel Allotey placed third with 202 number of votes.
*Mr. Eric Nii Odartey placed second with 356 number of votes.
*The incumbent Mr. Abossey braid won with 966 number of votes.
The director of electoral commission, Anyaa Sowutoum, Mr. George crowned Mr. Abossey braid as the elected candidate to contest the seating MP of the area, hon. Ayorkor Botchwey in the 2016 general election.
