The Former Executive Secretary of the National Labor Commission
(NLC) Charles Adongo Bawa Du
ah has warned the government to desist from
politicizing the Nation Builders corps when recruiting graduates unto the
program.
He explained that politicizing the program will affect the
smooth running and operation of the policy.
Speaking in an interview with Atinka news, Mr. Adongo noted
that the youth of Ghana deserve to have decent, quality and permanent jobs
rather than putting up measures that will help curb the issue of unemployment
on temporal bases.
Mr. Adongo observed that the nation builders’ corps is a
temporal measure to curb unemployment but the government must look at
encouraging companies and expanding of the economy to provide the youth with
permanent jobs rather than relying on temporal jobs.
