PREZ. NANA ADDO LAUNCHES NATION BUILDERS CORP [NaBCo] TO ADDRESS UNEMPLOYMENT IN GHANA


As a module to curb unemployment in the country, the president of the republic Nana Akuffo Addo has launch the Nation builders Corps aimed at addressing graduate unemployment in the country.

The program which was launch on 1 May, 2018[Tuesday] is to engage the raw talents of unemployed graduates and quip them with skills through a process of value addition and training.

The scheme is expected to employ over 100,000 graduates under seven modules which are, Education Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Civic Ghana and Enterprise Ghana.

Your placement unto the scheme [NaBCo] will last for a period of 3 years under a stipend of GH700 cedis every month and it’s opened to all Ghanaian s who have discharged their national service obligations.

According to President Akufo-Addo, the online application is necessary to reduce the efficiency in the application process as well as serve as an opportunity to check for other available national data basis to avoid fraud.

To enroll onto the NaBCo, prospective applicants would have to log on to the programmes website, www.nabco.gov.gh to fill out application forms at no cost or charge.

The application process is expected to begin on June 1, 2018 and ends on July 1, 2018, successful applicants would be deployed to commence work by August 1, 2018.
